Sean O’Meara, M.A., is an applied anthropologist with over 17 years of professional experience conducting ethnographic, ethnobotanical, and ethnohistorical, and oral history research. He has particular expertise in ethnobotanical research in which he connects with communities through their cultural use of plants, and uses ethnobotanical research to document communities' connections to place. Sean has developed long-standing collaborative relationships with communities through his thorough and caring approach to community-based research.

Michael Spears, M.A., R.P.A., is an applied anthropologist with over 15 years of experience as a historic preservation professional. His areas of expertise include place-based ethnographic research to document Native American history and connections to place, oral history research, the identification and evaluation of traditional cultural properties, and the development of cultural resources geospatial databases. He is also a recognized expert in the laws and regulations associated with Tribal Historic Preservation Offices (THPOs), and has assisted numerous tribes in developing federally-recognized THPOs.
